We were delighted to be approached by the talented team at Vision Installs to collaborate on a stunning new development overlooking the River Exe. As a full-property renovation project, the brief called for a bespoke fitted wardrobe for the son’s bedroom — combining clever storage solutions with luxury design details.
We worked with the design and build team at Vision Installs, to create this lovely space.
Tailored Design, Thoughtfully Executed
Our designer, Tom, began by drafting an initial concept based on feedback from the client during the on-site survey. From there, the design evolved through a series of iterations, with every shelf, drawer, and hanging section custom-designed to suit the client’s exact needs.
3D renderings enabled the client to visualise the interior before anything was built
One of the benefits of choosing Just Wood Furniture is that we aren’t limited by standard modular dimensions — we can create any height, width, depth, or angle required. This design freedom allows us to tailor every project to the room and to the client’s lifestyle.
A Statement in Style and Storage
The wardrobe doors and drawer fronts were spray-finished in Farrow & Ball 'Wine Dark', a rich, deep shade that perfectly complemented the modern interiors of the property. Subtle oak fingerpull inlays added a layer of natural warmth and detail to the contemporary door fronts.
Behind the tall, sleek doors, integrated LED lighting automatically activates when opened, illuminating of the interior — ideal for both practicality and style. The wardrobe features a well-thought-out layout, with hanging rails, shelving, and drawers designed to maximise a relatively compact space.
A standout feature was the internal drawer configuration. Uniform in size, except for the top two left-hand drawers which included custom compartments for watches, belts, and other accessories. To maintain visual continuity, a push-to-open mechanism was added to the smallest drawer, mirroring the drawer above that featured the oak fingerpull detail.

Quality Materials and Craftsmanship
